Our long awaited Boz in Oz: Charles Dickens’ Colonial Connections conference is now over. We had Great Expectations for the 112th Dickens Fellowship International Conference – which began with a Reception at the Sydney Town Hall with Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore – and our expectations were exceeded.
Attended by 149 delegates, who travelled to Sydney from New Zealand, Japan, Germany, Sweden, United States of America and the United Kingdom plus various Australian states – New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia – it was a wonderful opportunity for some Dickensian Fellowship.
